As a small Vermont-based luxury ground transportation service we continually strive to provide our guests with an exceptional ground transportation experience at a reasonable price. We try to keep the process simple and act consistently in the application of the few policies we have found it necessary to create. Here is some information about our policies and how they may apply to our valued guests.
Our Service
We operate quality, smoke-free vehicles with experienced professional drivers and chauffeurs who are carefully selected and thoroughly trained. Our 24/ 7 transportation which includes a live person call center, and most importantly our attention to every detail, defines our transportation service and differentiates us from other ground transportation providers. We believe the value you receive is directly proportionate to the time, talent and equipment available to provide you with our trademark high quality transportation service. We have found that virtually every customer has a unique ground transportation need. For us to completely understand your needs and provide exactly the service you require, we prefer direct communication with you our customer. We find this approach gives you exactly what you need at a fair and reasonable price, with no surprises. Reservations
We encourage reservations of at least 24 hours in advance of travel. Last minute, on-demand service is achievable but may not always be available. We require a major credit card for all reservations , but never charge the fare until after travel is completed. A deposit is required for certain reservations.
Ridesharing
Sharing a ride reduces the number of vehicles on the road, cuts vehicle emissions in the environment, and most importantly, saves you money. We constantly co-ordinate our reservations to create ridesharing arrangements that are favorable to our guests. Although we can never guarantee a rideshare and/or corresponding lower rate, we will always strive to provide the best value for your ground transportation dollars.

Cancellation Policy
Airport / Amtrak / Bus Station
There will be no charge for cancellation of an airport/Amtrak or bus station reservation when we are notified at least 24 hours before scheduled travel time. Depending on the circumstances, there may be a charge for cancellation within 24 hours of your scheduled travel. This charge varies from the minimum of a $25.00 service charge to the full fare that would have been charged had you traveled as reserved with us.
Weddings, Proms, Other Special Events
All reservations require a major credit card for confirmation. We accept Master Card, VISA, and American Express. For weddings and special event celebrations, there will be a $100.00 non-refundable deposit at the time of the reservation. If cancellation of the reservation occurs within 30 days of the event there will be an additional charge of up to 50% of the original quote. Cancellation within 48 hours of the event will result in a charge of the entire quote. Prom reservations require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of the reservation. The entire quoted amount will be charged for a cancellation within 2 weeks of the date of the event.
Special Events, Charter
Our Special Event and Charter cancellation policy is dependant upon the event, the circumstances surrounding the need for cancellation, and the time prior to the event that the cancellation is requested. Generally we will charge a $100.00 service charge if a reservation is completed, confirmed and then cancelled a week or more before the event. Within a week of the event the cancellation charge could range from $100.00 to $500.00 depending on the date and type of event, and our ability to re-book the vehicle for the date previously reserved.
Delayed / Early AM or Late-night PM and/or Delayed Travel
Early departure before 6:00AM may be subject to a fare surcharge up to $10.00. Although we normally do not charge wait-time, delayed travel between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00AM may be subject to a fare surcharge of between $5.00 and $20.00.
Gratuities
Airport fares do not include a recommended minimum 15- 20% driver gratuity. Thank you for allowing Middlebury Transit, and their two divisions, Vermont Chauffeured Transportation and Burlington Limousine and Car Service the opportunity to provide you with Vermont-style luxury ground transportation.
